Mercure adds Yarra Valley
After surviving the bushfires, the Yarra Valley's Balgownie Estate Vineyard Resort & Spa is back in business and joins Accors Mercure hotel network from April 1. Just under an hour's drive from the Melbourne CBD and Tullamarine Airport, the resort can cater for conferences for up to 130 delegates.
Vibe opens in Darwin

Hilton Lights Up
The famous 'Hilton' logo has just lit up on the Hilton Melbourne South Wharf. The finishing touches are being made to the bedrooms, restaurant, café and bars. The opening date is officially set for April 16th, 2009.

Resorts World at Sentosa to open in 2010
Slated to be one of the world's most exciting family destinations, Resorts World at Sentosa is a collection of resorts and attractions with a plethora of fun-filled offerings for the entire family. Taking pride of place on Singapore's resort island of Sentosa and spanning 49 hectares of lush greenery amongst pristine lakes, this S$6.59 billion mega-resort will be home to Southeast Asia's first and only Universal Studios theme park, the world's largest oceanarium - Marine Life Park and the region's only fully integrated destination spa - ESPA.
The resort also boasts a total of 1,800 keys, spread across its six hotels of varying themes, with full conference and meeting amenities, including a ballroom that sits 7,300 delegates.
