Hello, An integral part of our business is to keep our knowledge of venues right around Australia up to date so that we can offer the right advice on conference and meeting venues. In April and May we have been busy travellers with Angela Martin visiting Club Med Lindeman Island in the Whitsundays. Members of our team visited the RSVP trade show in Melbourne along with overnight stays at Yarra Valley Conference Centre and Glen Erin at Romsey. I was allowed out of the office to attend the Australian Events Expo in Sydney hosted by the Sydney Convention and Visitors Bureau and treated to an excellent show case of function and meeting venues available in the harbour city. Special thanks go to Leanne Zeid of SCVB for looking after us so well. Managed to fit in a quick visit to Peppers Pier Resort Hervey Bay and Fraser Island thanks to Peppers Resorts and Virgin Blue. All this activity reflects the range, variety and various locations right around Australia you are requesting for your conferences and business events. Pencil in your diary for June 21 a visit to QNT on Show at The RACV Club in Melbourne. Be sure to drop by our stand and meet with members of our team and an update on what's happening in the Northern parts of Australia. It's hard to believe but I'm still leading our footy tipping competition, everyone is slowly catching up but the Hawks are still delivering. If only we could transfer some of that winning magic to our Wednesday afternoon efforts out on the bay. For all those heading up the ski slopes in the weeks ahead hopefully there will be plenty of snow. Regards, Jim Conway |
